We are all starships
Setting off on airless journeys
No guarantee of return
In fact
Planning on not coming back
We will stay wherever we find shelter
On cold and distant planets
Under strange and wonderful moons
With different stars
But after all
Won’t the feelings be the same
Fires will still burn
Lives will still be lived
And in time
Even these unfamiliar stars
Will seem like home

Pretty…and the poem too
LOL… ditto.
Brilliant! I enjoyed this very much.
I’m glad you liked it.
You can write no wrong.
I can, and I will, but maybe not this so much.
There are no guarantees in anything in life.. This piece is really great Hotspur!! ~ Jen
Thank you so much, Jen!
