I took a break last week. I still did Saturday Poetry, but I did it quickly. This week, I was on top of it. I like introducing new writers, or new-to-me writers, but I thought I’d focus on stellar past performers this time.
You ALWAYS manage to find such wonderful poems to put together for these posts – and I’m not saying that just ’cause I’m here today. You have a talent, much like a curator, to pull together pieces that not only stand alone but that when taken together make a truly cohesive, interesting, intricate larger picture.
You’re welcome! Originally I thought I was just putting a bunch that I thought were really good, but after a few times I realized that sometimes they were written on some kind of common theme just under the surface.
However, little secret, if they are about love or romance I usually reserve those for Romantic Monday.
